The KASMO Table Pendant Lamp is a lampshade built around one idea: let a clean cylindrical form carry a flowing spiral cut and a perforated skin, so the light itself becomes part of the design. Instead of hiding the bulb behind a plain cover, KASMO uses its textured surface to break the light into shadow and pattern, turning the fixture into the visual focus of the room rather than something you just switch on and forget.

What does it look like printed

Printed, KASMO keeps a clean cylindrical silhouette with a curved opening cut into the shade and a detailed perforated texture running across the surface. The outer shell reads dark and solid until the bulb goes on, at which point the contrast between that dark surface and the warm glow coming through the perforations gives it the eye-catching look the design is going for. It is meant to look handmade and stylish rather than purely decorative for its own sake.

Which socket does it need?

This version of KASMO is designed for an E14 lamp socket, so you will need an E14 pendant fitting and an E14 LED bulb to complete it. If you are already set up with E27 hardware, Sektor 7 Studios also offers the original KASMO in an E27 version, so it is worth checking which socket you actually have on hand before you print. Only LED bulbs should be used, and bulbs that generate high heat should be avoided, since the printed parts should not be exposed to high temperatures.

Where it fits in a home

KASMO is aimed at the spots where a pendant light does real work: above a dining table, a coffee table, a sideboard, a desk, or a reading corner. The source material also lists cozy living spaces and modern interior setups more generally, which matches the Scandinavian, Japandi and minimal aesthetics it is described as fitting into. It is built as a decorative indoor piece, not a functional light source on its own, so it earns its place as the centerpiece over a table rather than as ambient room lighting.

Worth printing?

For anyone who already has an E14 socket, cable and LED bulb on hand, KASMO is a straightforward way to add a lighting piece with a distinct shadow pattern to a room, without needing to source or design a shade from scratch. The files are offered as STL for general printing and as predefined 3MF profiles for Bambu Lab printers, with careful removal from the printbed noted as important once the print is done.
