The Sektor 7 Studios Worldwide Partner Directory exists because we kept getting the same question from people who found our designs and wanted them already printed. We don’t sell physical prints ourselves, so until now we had no good answer for them, just a polite explanation that we only offer digital files.

That gap is what led to the directory. We built a dedicated page on our website where Commercial License Members can list their online shops, so that when someone asks us where to buy a printed design, we can point them somewhere real instead of leaving them stuck.

Why the Sektor 7 Studios Worldwide Partner Directory is organized by country

A lot of buyers would rather order from a seller in their own country. It means lower shipping costs and shorter delivery times, and it avoids the uncertainty of international orders getting stuck at customs. If someone from Germany writes to us asking where they can buy one of our printed models, we want to send them straight to a German shop rather than leaving them to search blindly.

That’s the thinking behind organizing the directory by region: build a network of sellers spread across as many countries as possible, so customers everywhere have a local option. The more shops we have from different regions, the easier it becomes for people to find and buy our designs close to home.

What’s in it for the sellers who join?

Our website currently gets approximately 150,000 to 200,000 views a month. We can’t promise that a listing will translate directly into sales or traffic, but we think the exposure is a real opportunity, especially with how fast our community keeps growing. Whether you run a small Etsy shop, your own webstore, or a more established 3D printing business, there’s a place for you here.

How do you join?

Joining is meant to be simple. If you already hold an active Commercial License, you can sign in directly with your Patreon account, and our system will automatically verify your license status. That’s the fastest route.

If you don’t have a Commercial License yet, you can still apply. The only condition is that you’ll need to obtain an active Commercial License before your shop goes live in the directory. We also accept Commercial Members who hold their license through Thangs, so this isn’t limited to one platform. Once your application and license are both verified, your shop gets added.

A shared goal

The arrangement we’re going for is straightforward: you handle creating and selling the physical prints, and we help potential customers find you. We don’t take on manufacturing or shipping, and we’re not trying to compete with the sellers in our own community. We just want the discovery part easier on both sides, for customers looking for a printed design and for the members already doing the work of producing and shipping them.
