Why a flatter shape

The earlier pumpkins in the collection each had their own silhouette, some round, some tall. This version answers a different question: what happens when that same rope texture gets squashed into something low and wide. It gives the collection a piece that reads more like a pumpkin resting on its side, or one picked slightly overripe. Next to the taller versions on a shelf, it breaks up the visual rhythm rather than repeating it.

That flatter form also changes how it sits on a table. A taller rope pumpkin draws the eye upward, while this one spreads out, which makes it a reasonable pick for the center of a table instead of the edge of a shelf.

The file comes in two versions. The one-color version prints as a complete pumpkin with no assembly needed. The two-color version splits the stem from the body, so you can print each part on its own and combine colors without a multi-material setup. No AMS is required for this. Once both parts are done, glue the stem into place.

This separate-stem approach carries over from the rest of the Rope Pumpkin collection, and it solves something specific: getting a contrasting stem color without touching color-change settings or owning multi-filament hardware. Anyone who’s downloaded the earlier STL files already knows the drill, and this one follows the same pattern.

Yes. Sektor 7 Studios built this version to sit alongside the four earlier releases, matching heights, proportions, and shapes so a full display doesn’t look like a random pile of pumpkins. If you’ve already printed V1 through V4, this one slots in rather than replacing anything. Scaling different versions up or down and mixing colors is the intended way to build a fuller autumn display rather than a single centerpiece piece by piece.

Where it’s easiest to use

The print itself is described as easy to print and easy to assemble, which makes it a reasonable model to hand to someone newer to multi-part prints who wants to try a two-color piece without AMS or tool changes. The one-color version is simpler still, useful for a quick fall decoration with no post-print gluing.

On a desk it works as a small seasonal accent next to a keyboard or a stack of books. On a shelf it sits well next to the taller pumpkins from earlier drops, its lower stance breaking the line.
