What comes in the kit

TAMIN ships as a set of parts you combine rather than one fixed design. There are two main body versions: one with click-in doors, one open-fronted without them. On top of that you get a third variant with bubble decor on the front and a fourth with no decor at all, so the same shelf can read as playful or plain depending on your mood.

Inside, three inlet styles slot into the body: an open inlet, a plain shelf inlet, and a divided shelf inlet for splitting the space into smaller sections. Feet print separately and screw in, and a back cover clicks on rather than needing glue. You’re not locked into one look the day you hit print.

Assembling the mini shelf display stand

Assembly follows a fixed order: press the inlet in from the back, click on the back cover, screw in the feet, then press or glue in the magnets, and finally click in the doors if you’re building that version. It’s described as simple and clean, and the same steps apply to the version without doors, you just skip the magnet and door steps.

The magnet step is the one to slow down for. The door version needs eight small round neodymium magnets, four for the main body and four for the doors, and they have to go in with the correct polarity or the doors won’t close properly. Sektor 7 Studios recommends testing polarity before final assembly, and either press-fitting or gluing the magnets depending on how tight your printer’s tolerances run. A handful of magnet sizes are suggested — D6x1.5, D6x1.3, and D6x1 — but check which one actually matches the holes in your printed parts before ordering.

A shelf you can rebuild

Because every piece — body, inlet, feet, doors, back cover — is separate, this isn’t a one-and-done print. You can print the plain version first to see how it holds together, then come back later for the bubble-decor front or swap a shelf inlet for a divided one once you know what you want to display. It can sit on a sideboard holding jewelry, on a desk with a couple of mini figures, or tucked into a display corner with a small plant.
