JACK-O-BLAST Exploding Pumpkin

JACK-O-BLAST is an exploding pumpkin design from Sektor 7 Studios, built around the idea of a jack-o’-lantern that has been blasted open from the inside rather than carved in the usual way. The torn edges, wide aggressive mouth and sharp details give it a character quite different from a classic pumpkin face, and the design includes a proper holder for an LED tealight so the whole piece glows once lit.

What does it look like when printed?

The torn-open front and huge opening dominate the shape, with jagged edges and an aggressive expression standing in for the usual round eyes and grin. A separate stem completes the pumpkin and is glued into place once everything is printed. Because the pumpkin, stem and other parts print as separate pieces, each can be done in a different color, giving a multicolor look without needing an AMS or other multi-material system.

How does the tealight holder work?

Inside the pumpkin sits a dedicated holder sized for a standard LED tealight. The bottom closes with a removable screw-cap, and grip recesses on the cap make it easy to twist open and closed whenever you want to insert, remove or switch on the light. Sektor 7 Studios notes that only LED tealights should be used, never a real candle or open flame.

How does it print?

The model is a multipart design made for easy color separation, and no AMS is required to reproduce the shown look. Parts are printed separately and assembled afterward, with the stem simply glued on once the pieces are done, which the studio describes as an easy assembly step.

Where does it fit?

With a tealight glowing inside, the torn opening and warm light are described as especially dramatic in darker rooms, making the piece suited to a desk, a shelf or a front entrance during Halloween. It reads as a more extreme cousin of the traditional jack-o’-lantern, fitting into a pumpkin decor collection while offering a different mood: exploded rather than carved, and just as at home lit on a porch as sitting quietly on a shelf.
