The other swaps those out for integrated rubber studs, which sit flush against the surface and give you a clean, non-slip finish.
This matters if your desk has a glass top or a smooth painted surface where a plastic base would slide around. The rubber stud version solves that quietly. If you’d rather have the visual detail of a screw-in foot showing at the base, that version is there too, and it doesn’t compromise stability.
