The KASO Paper Towel Holder is a minimalist stand built to keep a roll of paper towels upright and within reach, whether that is on a kitchen counter, a coffee station or a workshop bench. The idea behind it is simple: take an object most people barely think about and give it a shape clean enough that it does not need to be hidden in a cupboard.

What does it look like when printed?

The main body is a smooth cylinder, kept deliberately plain so attention goes to the side detail instead. That panel carries a bold, carbon-fiber-inspired texture that breaks up the otherwise minimal surface and gives the piece some visual weight without making it busy. The front stays open, so pulling a sheet free does not turn into a small wrestling match with the holder.

How many versions come with the files?

Two versions are included: one designed for rubber studs and one with feet, so the base can be matched to whatever surface it will sit on. Both keep the same cylindrical body and textured panel, differing only in how the base makes contact with the counter.

What is it actually good for?

Kitchen countertops are the obvious home for it, but the compact footprint makes it just as useful elsewhere. Coffee stations, workshop benches, office kitchens and general home setups are all mentioned as good fits, and since the smooth body does not read as strictly utilitarian, it holds up fine sitting out in plain view rather than being tucked away.

Where does it belong once it is printed?

Because the footprint is small and the look leans toward decor rather than pure function, KASO fits naturally next to a coffee machine, on a shelf above a workbench, or beside a sink where a roll needs to stand without rolling off. It is a print that earns its spot through daily use rather than sitting as a display piece, while still looking tidy enough to stay visible on a counter or shelf.
