This time, we designed a model for everyday use — the PET Cap Opener, compatible with most standard plastic bottles on the market.

Inspired by a real need:

My grandmother had trouble opening bottles, so we created this gadget to make it easier for her — and hopefully for many others too.

The opener features three different grip sizes, making it highly versatile and compatible with a wide range of PET bottles. Whether it’s regular water bottles from LIDL, ALDI, KAUFLAND, or classic Coca-Cola PET bottles — this tool gets the job done.

The opener is equipped with a grip structure on the outside, which gives you a proper and secure grip surface. There is also a hole for inserting a finger to exert more force via a lever arm.

RECOMMENDED PRINT SETTINGS (Body):

• Printing Material: Bambulab PLA Matte black (used in our make)

• Nozzle: 0.4mm

• Infill: 15% (Gyroid or Grid)

• Layer Height: 0.2mm

• Walls: 3

• Support Structure: None needed

• Brim: None needed (if adhesion problems occur, activate brim)
