This compact screw cap box system is designed as a rugged, modular storage solution for everyday carry, workshop use, and outdoor activities. The container is easy to print, easy to assemble, and highly configurable.

The design uses a secure threaded closure and a textured grip surface for reliable handling. Thanks to the modular bottom system, multiple containers can be stacked together to build a custom storage tower.

• Secure screw cap mechanism

• Three cap variants: normal, compass, and travel version

• Optional TPU band / loop version for carrying or hanging

• Compact and robust design

Perfect for small tools, bits, screws, matches, survival items, or other small essentials you want to keep protected and organized.

Optional: The TPU loop insertion depends on the infill density. With around 10–15% infill, the TPU stays flexible enough to snap into the cap’s notches. Just adjust carefully during assembly to ensure a secure fit.

For the compass version, we used a standard 20mm compass insert (Amazon link: https://amzn.to/4kmPaBR).

• Filament: Bambulab PLA Matte red, black, orange + Bambulab TPU 95A (used in our makes)

• Infill: 8% Gyroid or Grid

• Layer Height: 0.2 or 0.16mm

• Walls: 2

• Nozzle Size: 0.4mm

• Support Structure: Needed

• Brim: None needed, but when you have adhesion problems than activate the brim

• Skirt loops: 1
